This is a hybrid position, but applicants MUST be willing to commute to Worcester, MA. Our hybrid schedule consists of 4 days in-office and 1 work-from-home day per week. Fully remote applicants will NOT be accepted.

Worcester Interactive is a growing digital marketing agency in Worcester, MA, that specializes in digital advertising, social media management, and web design for small to medium-sized businesses. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as a Website Support Technician on our Support Team.

The Website Support Technician’s principal role is to provide technical support for our clients’ websites, resolve issues and errors, make content and design adjustments as requested, troubleshoot complex support issues and communicate with clients in a clear and professional manner. The Website Support Technician will fulfill daily customer support requests in the web design and SEO departments. The ideal candidate is an individual capable of wearing different hats in a fast-paced environment, and is familiar with WordPress configuration, website design, and web content development. As a Website Support Technician, you will work as part of a team to help design, develop, and deploy customer revisions and updates to small and large-scale websites.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer support requests
  • Break-fix support
  • Perform website maintenance and edits that clients send over
  • Keep track of tasks in a ticketing system
  • Update website plugins and themes
  • Help to create, maintain, and update landing pages
  • Configure Google Analytics
  • Support the SEO team in SEO fulfillment (geotagging images, implementing metadata, publishing blogs, keyword optimization, Google Profile posts)
  • Test and debug contact forms (Advanced Contact Form 7, Typeform, etc.)

Preferred Experience:

  • Experience designing and managing WordPress websites
  • A knack for graphic design and good visual/aesthetic sense
  • Experience generating and optimizing online content for search
  • Experience with graphic design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD & Canva

Other: The hybrid position is based in our headquarters office in Worcester, MA. It consists of 4 in-office days and 1 work-from-home day per week.
