Worcester Interactive is a growing digital marketing agency in Worcester, MA, that specializes in digital advertising, social media management, and web design for small to medium-sized businesses. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to serve as a Junior Web Designer on our Web Team.

The Junior Web Designer’s principal role is to assist with internal and client-facing web projects. In this position, you will report directly to the Senior Web Designer. The ideal candidate is an individual capable of wearing different hats in a fast-paced environment, working in WordPress configuration, website design, and content development. As a Jr. Web Designer, you will work individually and as part of a team to help design, develop, and deploy small and large-scale websites and e-commerce sites, all while learning and growing your skillset.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Help develop and design WordPress-based websites
• Respond to WordPress trouble tickets and support requests
• Produce digital content: photos, graphics, and site assets
• Work with our Digital Strategists and clients to identify requirements and project goals
• Work with our Digital Strategists to design a solution that will meet clients’ business requirements
• Test and verify with project team members and clients that solutions will meet their business requirements
• Participate in key meetings with clients, including design interviews, design reviews, demos, and end-user training

Preferred Experience:

• Experience designing and managing WordPress websites
• A knack for graphic design and good visual/aesthetic sense
• Experience generating and optimizing online content for search
• Experience with graphic design tools, such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD & Canva

• The position is based in our headquarters office in Worcester, MA
• Telecommuting is only available after the first 120 days
